Questions, answered with care
The practicalside of lovely.
Beautiful should never mean complicated. Here are the answers to the questions that matter most.
Ask a different questionDoes Obscur need a wall-hung support frame?
Yes. A concealed steel frame and fixings are supplied in the box. The frame sits inside a stud or boxed-in wall, and your installer sets the seat height when it goes in.
Will Obscur fit my bathroom?
Obscur projects 550 mm from the finished wall, with the waste leaving horizontally through the wall (P-trap). Our two-minute fit check gives you a quick answer, or send Jason a photo and he'll confirm.
Do I need a professional to install it?
Yes. A qualified plumber fits the frame, water supply and waste, and a qualified electrician fits the fused spur. The installation guidance and frame drawings are in the documents above.
Will it work with my water pressure?
Obscur has a built-in water tank and is designed to work at low water pressure, so the flush and the warm-water wash stay consistent. If your supply is unusual, Jason can check it with you.
What happens in a power cut?
A backup battery keeps Obscur flushing, for up to 50 flushes, until the power returns.
How is Obscur different from other Tresani models?
Obscur pairs the full Japanese-style feature set with a dramatic matt black finish, an illuminated side control and a charcoal-filter deodoriser, a first for the Tresani range.
What warranty does Obscur have?
A lifetime guarantee on the ceramic and two years on parts and electronics.
